G7仙台‼：”G7 in Sendai, Japan!!”

皆様、こんにちは！！

ERINglish事業部として活動して半年経ちました。

少しづつ通訳、翻訳、英会話、英会話サロン、接遇研修、インバウンド推進事業等、活動をひろげております！！

先日仙台国際センター並びに秋保で行われましたG7にも通訳でお呼び頂き貴重な体験をしてきましたので写真と一緒にシェアしたいと思います。

Hello, everyone!! I　am　Erin  from  Sendai.

I’ve　been　working　as　translator　since　last　year　after　10　years　of　flying　experience at Northwest air lines and Delta Airlines.

How’s everything with you?

There was G7 summit not too long ago in Sendai.

I attended it as a translator.

It was such an interesting experience for me.

So, I want to share some pictures and how it was from my point of view.

G7て何？： “What’s G7?”

G7（ジーセブン）は、”Group of Seven”の略で、フランス、アメリカ、イギリス、ドイツ、日本、イタリア、カナダの7つの先進国のこと。

今回仙台で行われたサミットには、5月20日と21日に財務大臣並びに日銀総裁が集まり、世界経済の安定化の為に議論されました。

The Group of 7 (G7) is a group consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, theUnited Kingdom, and the United States.

まずは、仙台市長のご挨拶写真：”The speech from Sendai Mayor”

目の前には世界各国の重要人物がいるのと、なにぶん通訳のお仕事でせっかくのお話しは聞けずでしたが、仙台市民として市長が堂々とスピーチされているのをチラッとでも見れて感動しました。

Since I was working, I couldn’t listen well to her speech. However, I was proud of her looking confident and smiling as Sendai Mayor.

ブース前にて：”In front of booth”

一般社団法人　東北経済連合会様のブースの前です。

こちらのブースには東北7県のそれぞれの代表企業様が様々な自社製品を紹介すべく見事なブースを構えていらっしゃいました。

国際リニアコライダープロジェクトを東北で進めている企業様や、お水と蜂蜜のみを原料に日本酒かワインの酵母で作るミードを出品していた会津代表の酒蔵様有限会社峰の雪酒造場、新潟越後からは老舗の味噌屋さん株式会社杉田味噌醸造が新しく開発したお味噌の入ったお菓子等々。

東北の企業様達の世界への進展への意欲をとても感じられました。

It’s taken in front of the booth of Tohoku Economic Federation.

There were seven companies from each Tohoku prefectures presenting their feature products and projects, such as Tohoku international linear  collider project, Natural made Mead from Iwate, Special Miso sweets from Niigata and so on.

Each company showed their devotion for their work, and I was impressed to see that.

通訳をしていると普段は会えないような人に巡り合ったり、とても面白い仕事だと思います。

写真の方々は普段テレビでしかみない国を支える重要な人物達です。

麻生財務大臣や、日銀の黒田総裁が目の前を通り過ぎて行くのは不思議な感じです。

もっと世界で重要な場面に関わっていきたいと思わせられる貴重な体験となりました。

世界は広い！！皆さんも、夢を大きくもちましょう！！

Being a translator is very interesting since I get to see different people for real.

People in this picture are someone leading countries, and I normally see them on TV.

This experience motivated me that I want to have more opportunities to be a important part of this world.
